Hunt Lincoln Clark Family Communities LLC, in a partnership with the Department of the Navy, has begun operations at MCB Quantico in Prince William County, Virginia, and Camp Pendleton in North County, California, to enhance the quality of life for military families by providing new, high quality housing.
Clark Realty Builders, the design-builder for MCB Quantico, will build 993 new homes and renovate 144 historic structures over the next four and a half years. The program consists of three- and four-bedroom Colonial and Federal Revival single-family homes and townhomes. Each new home will have nine-foot ceilings on the first floor, Corian countertops, dishwashers, microwaves and will be EnergyStar-compliant. Most homes will also have two-car garages. The neo-traditional neighborhoods will offer pedestrian walkways, community centers, and children's play areas.
Clark Realty Builders will deliver the first of 191 single-family homes in Thomason Park in August 2004.
